Hello and Welcome to the Sanctuary.

The Gift of Tantra is an amazing journey, a gateway to divine consciousness and of a deep oneness with all things including intimately knowing self and merging a deeper intimacy with a partner and the entire cosmos.  As human beings we tend to see the world in two separate parts, like the metaphor of white and black, hot and cold, Shiva (masculine), Shakti (feminine) thus losing the sight of recognizing the unity of all things. 

To the Tantrika, the Universe is inseparable, they see the universe as though it were within themselves, and themselves as though they were within the Universe. This is the inter-relationship with the microcosm and macrocosm so we are naturally accustomed to analyze the world into separate parts.  Tantra teaches us that the individual being and universal being are one.  All that exists in the universe also exists in the body. Tantra knows ALL simultaneously.

Myself and Dakini Lisa, recently embarked on the Sanctuary's "Gift of Love" Tour in Sydney and Melbourne and was an amazing whirlwind adventure of seeing news places and meeting new people.  It was an absolute honour to sit and hold sacred space with such beautiful people who are clearly ready to embody Tantra. Many thanks to all for making this journey an experience that Lisa and I will treasure for a long time to come.  Also thank you to Tracey and the girls at the Awareness Institute in Sydney, to Lois in Melbourne for being a powerful advocate for women to step into their truth, to beautiful Lisa in Perth who looked after admin and the lounge and who I might add does an amazing job and lastly to Lisa, my beautiful friend and gorgeous Goddess who held space for all, organized all our events, encouraged me to step into my fears and supported me unconditionally.   We were incredibly busy and most days we had back to back sessions until 11pm at night, but on the rare occasion we managed to squeeze in some downtime of the sights of Sydney and Melbourne not to mention shopping time and the clothes and boots in Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds in Melbourne were out of this world!  Definitely a must for all Goddesses!

A highlight for me was sitting in the Cockpit of the Boeing 737 with the Co-Pilot and with the Captain's Hat on!  Lisa quickly snapped up this pic and I was quite emotional due to the realization of how incredible the journey of life is and when we open our heart to this knowing, the people, the experiences, the moments touch our hearts and our lives forever.

In 2013 the Sanctuary will be facilitating Tantra Workshops in Bali along with Master Alex Lim.  We have also been asked to facilitate a Retreat in New Zealand and Workshops in Las Vegas.  I realise that the universe is calling me to travel and teach this precious gift and whilst it is known as Tantra I call it the "Gift of Love".  There is no greater place of power and wisdom that resides in the heart of unconditional love, it is the only point including the crown chakra where the divine light is channeled.  The heart is powerful yet vulnerable, it is beautiful yet graceful, it is truth, yet wisdom.  This is the practice of MISHRA TANTRA to connect to the devotion of the Womb of the Universal Mother - The Goddess.

In other exciting news, I mentioned in previous Newsletters that this year the Sanctuary will be undergoing a major restructure on all levels.  The first of which is our new name.  Welcome to THE SANCTUARY OF ANANDA (Ananda meaning BLISS or ECSTASY OF LOVE).  The Sanctuary of Tantra will still remain though especially for google searches etc, however our intent is to bring in a fresh and new vibration and approach to the teachings of Tantra, Sacred Love, Taoist and especially The Whitetigress/Green and Jade Dragon teachings, as well as Sensual Dance and many other new modalities.  The Western World has distorted the energy and sacredness of Tantra and now sadly it has become a name so misunderstood and misused.  Sex sells so is it little wonder that Tantra has been used as an illusion by so many to gain ego power and money over others?  Tantra is a greater path to sexual ecstasy but it's only when it is used correctly with the right intent that the teachings take you into a state of BLISS and ONENESS with all things.  This is exactly what the intent is when experiencing an orgasm.  In that moment, you are totally IN THE MOMENT and this is BLISS CONSCIOUSNESS.

 In other news, our incredibly talented web builder and designer Claire Botman from Zeta Tech has developed a "Google Public Calendar" for the home page of the website.  The Calendar will have all the monthly dates of workshops, retreats, meditations etc in one easy glance. The advantage of having a public google calendar is that anyone can add the events to their own google calendars.  The Calendars are brilliant, you get reminders sms'd and they can sync with phone calendars etc.

The Tantra Lounge now has her own domain www.thetantralounge.com and will be moving as a separate division of the Sanctuary.  The new improved lounge will be FREE to the general public worldwide to use the open chat room or post topics of interest relating to Sacred Sexuality on the public forum. There will also be a networking forum for all members who wish to post information about their business, exciting events, workshops etc. For members who wish to use the lounge to contact other members for friendship or dating the cost is $19.99 for 12 months.  There are new and improved features on the dating side of the lounge including a larger 'profile' window for members to share more information about themselves.  We are so excited that the lounge is finally growing and expanding and it has definitely been a big learning curb in process.  Thank you to Lisa for all your hard and tireless work on the lounge welcoming new members and helping them navigate around and to all the members who use the lounge, we hope that you continue to enjoy the experience and take advantage of the vast array of information regarding Tantra and Sacred Sex on the Forum Posts.

Men's Tantra Group 

The Men's Tantra Group, is a fun, non-intrusive gathering to share in the presence of like minded men and to provide a confidential and supportive bond to connect back to the deep grounded masculine spirit.

Ancient primral cultures were aware of the importance of the rites of passage marking a crossing into manhood and for men to become deeply centred and embodied in their masculine and feminine energy.

This past week the Sanctuary has been receiving enquiries from people who phone us on a private number (blocked number) asking why their call is not being answered.

At present, and for at least the next month, we are screening all calls received from blocked numbers due to the high volume of nuisance calls received from an unknown individual who contacts the Sanctuary many times a day from a blocked number.  This has been ongoing over a 3 month period and will now be handed over to the authorities.

We ask that if you are trying to contact us using a private number that you either email or alternatively please send a text message with the phone number and time you would like us to return you call.

We really apologise for any inconvenience or frustration this may cause and we ask for your patience and support until this matter has been resolved.

Hello and welcome to our April Newsletter.

March was an extremely busy month at the Sanctuary which included two amazing Tantra Retreats and many wonderful new creations forming.  The weather is starting to cool down and we are now enjoying lovely sunny days.  I love this time of the year when the days are not too hot and not too cold.

I am finally (after 43 years) at a place in my life of contentment, bliss, surrender and a much greater awareness and understanding of myself and my life's journey . I am continually blessed to wake up each day and share my passion and love of Tantra. I call the practice of Tantra the ‘Gift of Love' because when you step onto the path we begin to see and know that love is constantly all around us, everywhere, every second, every moment, everyday. It is a journey of knowing SELF first. Knowing yourself intimately, then knowing your partner intimately and then expanding that love and intimacy into the divine state of Unity.....Oneness with all that is".

The first Couple's Retreat for the year was held on the 10th and 11th March and was a wonderful weekend shared by all in the sacred bond of couple's embracing their relationship on a deeper and more intimate level within their ‘Coupleship'. Thank you to the beautiful couple's that had the courage to attend this weekend to further enhance your relationship on all levels. A very special thank you to Master Lim, our Special Guest Speaker for sharing his knowledge, wisdom and passion on Tantra and Qi Gong and to Sue Bartoll for working so tirelessly cooking up a delicious feast for us all to enjoy. We never stop eating at these retreats! And lastly thank you to Dom for holding space for the group and for all your hard work in setting up the retreat and the cubby house!. By popular demand I am extending one more Couple's Retreat for this year which is scheduled for the 7th and 8th July in Serpentine.

The Women's Tantra Goddess Retreat was held on the 24th and 25th March and was attended by thirty Succulent and Luscious Shakti each on their own personal journey of self discovery through the bond and nurturing of the feminine Spirit. We had an amazing weekend and thank you ladies for sharing your bubbly and enthusiastic energy! Many thanks go to my beautiful friends Lisa and Lisa for your support, unconditional love, strength, believing in me and holding space for all. To Dahlia from Jelly Belly's Belly Dancing for showing us her sexy moves and celebrating the feminine in Sacred Dance, to Karen Then for guiding everyone through a session in Yoga to stretch and flex our Goddess bodies and to Jane Fitzgerald for sharing her passion and wisdom of the beautiful Crystal Beings. And lastly another special thank you to Sue Bartoll and her helpers for nurturing us with nutritious meals to replenish our Shakti. And there was a big group so well done Sue for keeping up with us all. There is one more Women's Retreat scheduled for the 27th and 28th July so if you couldn't make the March retreat make sure you book in early for the next one.

We are incredibly excited at the opportunity of branching out across Australia and have also been asked to facilitate a Couple's Retreat in New Zealand and Sydney in 2013.

In other very exciting news, the Sanctuary is in private talks to sponsor David Deida to Perth in 2013 which will be finalized in November this year.  David Deida is a profound author and speaker in the field of sacred sexuality and relationships and is the author of the worldwide famous book "The way of the Superior Man".  Stay tuned for more information!.  Master Alex Lim and myself will be facilitating a Couple's and Single's Tantra/Qi Gong Retreat in Bali in March 2013 and last but not least I am in the process of recording a new audio program "Sensual Tantric Massage", a guided step by step instruction of the techniques and moves to give a full body Tantric Massage. This new CD will be ready for release on the 1st May just in time for Mothers Day.

We are in the process of revamping the website again and my amazing web builder Claire from Zeta Tech is putting a monthly calendar on the home page so all the workshops, retreats, events and meditation dates can be seen at one easy glance. Thank you so much Claire for all the hard and tireless work that you do for the Sanctuary. Lisa who is the moderator on the Tantra Lounge is taking over some of the administration work and is currently in the process of adding photos to the books on the 'Recommended Reading' page and we are also going to add a new page for "Recommended Tantra Music".  The Tantra Lounge has recently been unindated with lots of new members and as it's starting to grow so much we are now looking at taking the lounge into it's own domain worldwide.  So stay tuned.....all will be revealed!

Sand and Stone

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert.  During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.  The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE".

They kept on walking until they found an oasis where they decided to take a bath.  The one, who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowing, but the friend saved him.  After the best friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:  "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE".

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now you write on a stone, why?"

The other friend replied:  "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away.  But when someone does something good for us we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it".

Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your benefits in stone.

COUPLE'S SACRED GATHERINGS

It's hard to believe that March is here already and the Sanctuary is preparing for a very big and exciting month!

The Couple's Retreat scheduled for the 10^th and 11^th March is a complete sellout and we are now regretably turning couple's away.  For those that missed out on the March retreat, please don't despair as I have decided to facilitate one more retreat for July this year.  The Couple's weekend is such an amazing space to not only connect to your partner on a deeper and more intimate level but to also uncover the deep emotional beliefs that unconsciously block relationships from truly being fulfilled.

Recently, I have taken advantage of this very barmy and hot weather by hosting the last 3 meditation evenings at the very beautiful Point Walter and the atmosphere has been absolutely superb with a large group of nearly 30 people attending.  Last week we had a dolphin surprise and delight us all by making a grand entrance right up to the shore where we were sitting and preceded to play as dolphins do around the bay.  Beautiful enlightened beings that are here to remind us all to bring more joy and play into our life.    There will be one more meditation evening at Point Walter on the 7^th March and then the following fortnight returning back to the Sanctuary.

In other news, my lovely friend Jane Fitzgerald from Witchy Poo's Creations is hosting a very special event on the 16^th, 17^th, and 18^th March called "Sparkles of Light Gathering".  This amazing weekend will be facilitated by not only Jane herself but joined by 12 other fabulous Guest Speakers in the arts of different healing modalities.  I am really looking forward to this great weekend and honoured to be a speaker to share with all my passion and joy of Tantra.  This event will be held in Chidlow on 85 of acres of magnificent sacred land. An incredible event not to be missed! (Please see flyer below).

And lastly, I wanted to share with you an article that I wrote for the Lounge recently on the topic of betrayal.  Although this subject may seem like doom and gloom to some it is actually very prevalent in its nature as so many people are constantly facing betrayal in many guises.

"Recently in my practice I have seen an alarmingly increase in 'betrayal' within relationships, friendships and within business partnerships so much so that I felt compelled to write something on this topic as the consequences of betrayal can cause devastation on every level if not understood.

The first thing to understand and recognise is that if you or someone you know have experienced  betrayal  in whatever form please know that it has nothing to do with you.  As crazy as that might sound it is normal for us to point the finger within and question 'what have I done wrong'.  Whilst in a very few cases this is relevant, in the majority it is not.  My Master Disciple teaches that wisdom will enable you to understand the limitations of others and thus not take their inadequacies personally.  It is the beginning of what is known in the spiritual path as 'detachment'.

Everything consists of energy, our thoughts, emotions, sexuality etc and when a partner goes and has an affair behind another partners back or a friend has lied, belittled or back stabbed you then they are simply not only filling a void or need within but living in the illusion of the ego.  True love is unconditional, it comes from within first and radiates out.  If we truly loved and accepted all of us shadow and light, then we would never betray anyone as it would be like betraying ourselves.

Tantra is a path of exploring deep within, being mindful of our actions, our thoughts and being aware and present of the observer of our own play.  We all have shadow aspects of the personality and quite often people live their life permanently in their wounds or shadow side, always seeking gratification from somewhere else not within because we are not taught to go within.  To go within creates vunerability.

Tantra also teaches that we must find the 'off' switch. We must get off the merry-go-round. That we must see the bigger picture and we must be accountable for our actions and not only forgive ourselves but those around us.  There is absolutely no judgement on the path of Tantra, only blessings behind the lessons.

Betrayal in a sexual relationship in the form of an affair for example is never ever about sex or gratification although it may seem like that at the time.  It is a deep lack of knowing SELF and a deep void that is not being acknowledged and this can in some instances arise from as early as childhood.  Not being real and authentic within who you are is living in a world of distorted glamour.  Through the practice of Tantra we learn to take the masks off, the veil of illusion and be REAL.  Learn to be vulnerable and real and watch the incredible healing that can then take place in every avenue of your life.

All Masters teach vulnerability is our greatest POWER.  When two people are vulnerable there is no room for the ego to play and communication from the heart space is where the real connection, intimacy and healing takes place.

 Remember LOVE UNIFIES.....it is the only path to enlightenment"

Hello everyone and welcome to another month at the Sanctuary.

The start to the new year has been very busy and it has been wonderful to see so many old and new faces attending meditation classes, workshops and private sessions.  There have been many new clients flying in from all around the world to experience what the Sanctary has to offer and it is our intent to bring in more of the authentic Tantric teachings of Kaula and Mishra into practice and consciousness.

I am continually in awe of the beautiful people that attend the Sanctuary and this year in particularly I have noticed how many people are genuinely seeking peace, clarity and a deeper understanding of self in the great journey we all call life.

It is only through regular practices of Tantra, Pranayama, (Breath Control), Meditation and Yoga that we can delve deeper into the abyss of our shadow side allowing the light, our true nature to shine brightly.  This is the true path of Tantra - The path to Self Realisation.

I have seen so many people particularly this year absolutely saturating themselves in knowledge, workshops and healings.  It is true, we are seekers by nature yet for most of us we seek too much outside ourselves.  The saturation of workshops and spiritual healing will eventually over stimulate the energy centre known as Solar Plexus or Manipura Chakra (energy centre) accentuating old habits, and co-dependent emotions that can date back as early childhood.   This can be one of the reasons that many people continue to create the 'same old same old' being stuck in a pattern of old negative and repetitive patterns.  Seeking knowledge is an integral part of the journey but the key is to keep everything in balance.

Through Tantric practice and especially 'stillness' and JUST BEING in regular practices of meditation, yoga and mindfulness of ourselves in all totality, whilst being the observer of our own play, we learn to assimilate energy from the heart and crown centre which is the direct access point of light or source however you may think of this energy to be.  Light is wisdom and light is unconditional love.  To truly find that place, that oneness within ourselves awakens that light in our beloved creating esoteric experiences of euphoric lovemaking, connection and divine merging.  In other words, 'The unity of Shiva and Shakti'.

In other news, our last meditation group gathered at South Beach Fremantle at Sunset and it was such a beautiful space to meditate outdoors and be one with nature.  The weather was spectacular and our group certainly caught the eye of some very curious folk.   Many thanks to all who attended and especially to Jason our new practitioner for playing the amazing didgeridoo, Anne-Charlotte for playing the drums and Rachael for playing the Crystal Tibetan Bell.  Sound vibration is so healing and all who attended thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I am endeavoring to take advantage of the warm weather we are having by facilitating a few more meditation evenings outdoors, the next one being at Point Walter on the 8^th February.  Please remember that everyone is welcome and no experience in Tantra is necessary. click here for further details.  We would love to see you there.

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

I decided to establish a men's group as a safe place for men to meet, talk, discuss any issues or topics and also as a place to meet mingle exchange views ideas etc  that is away from work, loved ones family etc.

HOW IT DOES WORK/WHAT HAPPENS?

Meets are self directed which means whatever comes up comes up in discussions. As a facilitator I assist in holding the space and seeing that boundaries are respected and anyone who wants to talk has a space to do so. If there are particular topics of interest then by all means with consensus we can pursue them. Most importantly it's a place where men can support each other.

ABOUT ME:

 I am a single Dad of four wonderful children, who works full time in the holistic field. I have qualifications In Life coaching, Voice Dialogue and Tantra and work professionally from home and as a psychic/medium at the Crystal dolphin in Mandurah.
